WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN HOME
Peter Knipp Finds Body of Wife In Basement This Morning
Mrs. Julia Knipp, 38, was found dead in the basement of her home, 1121 S. 20th street, at 8:25 o'clock this morning by her husband, Peter Knipp. She had been in ill health for some time.
Mrs. Knipp, whose maiden name was Julia Wier, was born in this city April 12, 1898. She was married to Peter Knipp 20 years ago and they resided here during their entire wedded life.
Survivors are the widower, one daughter, Caroline, and one son, Elmer, both of this city; her mother, Mrs. Michael Wier, city; five brothers, Joseph, Alois, August, Peter and Paul Wier, all of this city; and two sisters, Mrs. John Mushel, and Mrs. Marie Rhode, both of this city.
The body will be taken to the residence Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the Shimek and Schwartz funeral parlors and funeral services will be held Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the residence and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

The body of Mrs. Julia Knipp, 38, was found in the basement of their home, 1121 South Twentieth street last Saturday morning by the husband, Peter Knipp. She had been suffering from a nervous ailment and had only recently returned from the hospital.
The funeral was held Monday morning.
Survivors are the husband, daughter, son, her mother, Mrs. Michael Wier, five brothers and two sisters.
