The headstones for Richard Knight and his four year old son Charles Knight have been stolen. If you have a photo of these stones, or perhaps a wide shot of the cemetery that may include them in the background, please post them here, along with the date the photo was taken. Richard's headstone is reported to be quite large, "a tall monument that came to a point on top like a steeple" while Charles had a smaller stone beside it. These two stones marked the first burials in this cemetery. If you have any information concerning the possible whereabouts of these headstones, please contact local authorities.
