Mrs. Rose Kroll, widow of Anton Kroll, died this morning at her home, 1130 S. 25th street, after a lingering illness.
The body was taken to the Pfeffer funeral home, and will lie in state after 7 o'clock Wednesday evening. The funeral has been set for Friday, 8:30 at the funeral home, and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. John Landowski officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
Mrs. Kroll was born in Germany April 15, 1876, and during her early childhood came to America. She was married 51 years ago, her husband preceding her in death in 1936.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. A.T. Seibel, Long Beach, Calif. And Mrs. Florence Young, Manitowoc, and four sons, Frank and George, the later in the maritime service, Long Beach, Calif.; Leo, Milwaukee, and Anton, Manitowoc. A sister, Mrs. C.J. Penfield of Columbus, O., also survives with one grandchild.
Members of the Rosary society to which Mrs. Kroll belonged will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
