Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, March 3, 20000, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Roman Zbieranski, O.F.M., with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Leo was born August 9, 1902, in Manitowoc, son of the late Anton and Rose Paynoski Kroll. On November 7, 1927, he married the former Rose Louise Glysch at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on July 27, 1996. The couple moved from Manitowoc to Milwaukee in 1933, and returned home in 1964, upon Leo’s retirement, Leo was employed at Square D. in Milwaukee for 31 years as an electrical layout engineer.
Survivors include a sister, Florence Young, Ohio; a niece, Janice Kroll, Florida; special friends, Tammy Langnese and Tim Hynek, both of Manitowoc. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Edwin, Stanley, George, Joseph and Anton and one sister, Marie Seibel.
The family will greet relatives and friends Friday morning at St. Mary Catholic Church, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Friendship Manor for the care given to Leo.
