Antonio "Tony" Gonzales, 39, of Idaho Falls, rocked his way to heaven on October 18, 2013, following a tragic accident.

Antonio was born November 17, 1973, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was the son of Elizabeth Rivas, the brother of six siblings, and the father of three daughters and one son.

He enjoyed laughing and making memories with his family and friends. He was a great guitar player and loved teaching his children how to play. He was also known for breaking his guitar after ending adrenaline-pumping performances. He loved rocking out to Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, and many other of his rock idols. Music was his constant companion, leaving many rockin' sing-alongs with his children in the back of his 1991 Pontiac Firebird Formula.

As we gather together as a family, we reminisce on all of the great memories we had with him. It is sad to see such a young soul go, but he is now an angel watching over us. With a beer in his hand and a smile on his face, he was - and always will be - an awesome dad, a great son, brother, uncle, lover and friend.

As we mourn the passing of Tony, please keep his family and friends in your prayers. We love and miss you, until we meet again.

Antonio is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Rivas, children, Alexis Gonzales, Jordyn Gonzales, Nikaylie DiViesti, and Caden DiViesti Gonzales, all of Idaho Falls, ID; his significant other, Rhonda Quintana of Idaho Falls, ID; his siblings, Cyndi Nieto, Alycia (Raymundo) Beltran, Diana "Deani" (Adam Larsen) Brown, Ruben Nieto, Michael Nieto and Benjamin (Katie) Gonzales. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a nephew.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made at Wood Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs. Anything you can give helps.
