Obituary - Mae Albrecht, 78, of Macon Street, Sayville, died on Wednesday, August 15 in Southside Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Bayport, Miss Albrecht has been a lifelong resident of Bayport and Sayville. She worked in the Patchogue Plymouth Lace Mill for several years and with Boback Stores and also in Shand's Market in Bayport. Surviving Miss Albrecht are two sisters, Mrs. Lena Ayasse of Queens and Mrs. Jeanette Frabizzio of Patchogue. Also a brother, Walter Albrecht Sr. of Bayport. Friends visited at Raynor's Funeral Home, West Sayville on Friday. Religious services were held on Saturday morning at the funeral home with The Rev. Egbert J. Dunker, Pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Sayville, officiating. Interment followed in Union Cemetery, Sayville.
