Mrs. James Foos, a resident of Claridon Township, died at midnight Tuesday night. The deceased had been ill but a few days. About a week ago he suffered a paralytic stroke, but recovered from it. Tuesday he suffered a second stroke, and despite all efforts of the physicians, succumbed to the attack.

The deceased leaves 7 sons and 2 daughters. His wife died years ago.

The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the M.E. Church. The remains will be interred in the Caledonia Cemetery.
