CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Oredith Jones, age 83, of Centerville, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Reid Hospital. Born January 23, 1930, in Manchester, Kentucky, to John and Opal Smith Downey, she had lived in Richmond since 1965. Survivors include 4 sons, eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, brother, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. David Jones, who died in 1996; parents; sons, Kenneth and Carl Jones; brothers, Gilbert and Charles Douglas Downey; and sister, Vergie Henson.
