Bernice Sebree Cash
went to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 19, 2013. She was born Dec. 15, 1926, in Boone Co., KY., to Dolpha and Mabel Sebree. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Home Economics. After serving briefly as a county extension agent in home economics, she worked for 38 years as a home economist for Harrison Rural Electric Co-op. She was a member of the Cynthiana Baptist Church, Woman's Club of Harrison County, Trials and Trowels Garden Club and the Electrical Woman's Round Table. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband of 46 years H. J. Cash, and her sisters, Kathryn Sebree and Frances Pennington. She is survived by her brother, Lindy (Peggy) Sebree of Astatula, Florida and Ron (Carol) Sebree of Leesburg, Florida, her daughter, Jacki Cash, of Knoxville, Tenn. And son, Clark (Leigh Ann) Cash, of Frankfort, KY. She has seven grandchildren, Ryan Cash, Kellie Cash, Raleigh Fisher, Ashton Cash, Logan Cash, Spencer Cash and Kendall Cash. Services will be conducted 1 PM Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, Cynthiana, KY., with visitation after 11 AM Monday. Burial will follow the service in Battle Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Cynthiana Baptist Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
