Mrs. Eliza Christensen Allsop died in a Salt Lake hospital after a lingering heart ailment on Jan. 15, 1957.
She was born in Chester, Utah in San Pete County, Nov. 1884. She came to Grace in the spring of 1905 and married Geroge Tanner Allsop Oct. 4, 1906. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple Feb 1, 1906. Eight children were born to this union, all of whom survive their parents. She had 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Surviving her are Mattie Chrisensen, Eva Jensen, Warren G. Allsop, Dora Smith, Afton Gibbs, Ivor John Allsop, Della Cornelison and Don S. Allsop.
