Son of Matthew Lindsey---1895 and Abbie Robinson 1824---

Pvt. Co., H, Unit 14th Infantry

The entire Fort was killed by Indians on 27 December 1866 at Camp Date Creek. This is sometimes found in History Books on Arizona as Ft. Date. There are a few Adobe walls still standing but no one does any maintence on any of it.

I wish I could find all the families of these boys for that is just what they were, young boys that went off with the Army and never returned.

I am so pleased that someone found Israel and added his parents. Sad but in the 13 years since I put these boys on FAG, only one other person ever showed interest in them. THEY WERE SERVING THEIR COUNTRY.

Information from Jupe77--FAG Contributor 47232341:
Died in Skull Valley, Yavapai Co., Arizona
Named so after his death.
(She was kind enough to contact me about him. Thank you so very much)

Sarah Lindsey 1849
Catherine Lindsey 1851
Charles Lindsey 1853
Mary Lindsey 1858
Luther Lindsey 14 June 1860 New York--12 August 1920 Atena, Michigan
