MULVANE - Daley, Bernard Francis, 87, died Oct 9, 2005. Visitation from 1-6pm on Wed at Senter-Smith Mortuary. Rosary 7pm Wed; funeral mass 10 am Thurs, both at St. Michael Catholic Church in Mulvane. Graveside service to follow at Mulvane Cemetery. Born November 27, 1917 in Parsons. World War II veteran in Egyptian&African theatres. Married Mary Jo McGannon on June 14, 1948. Worked as a dispatcher for the M.K.T. Railroad for 27 years in Parsons and continued working in the transportation industry when the family moved to Derby. He was a two-term Derby City Councilman and served as Mayor of Derby in 1974-76. Retired to Parsons, then Mulvane in 2004. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers, three sisters. Survived by wife of 57 years, Mary Jo, brother, John Daley, sons, Jim Daley (Cathie), Joe Daley (Susan), John Daley (Vicky), daughters, Mary Ann Truex (Robert), Margaret Myers (Mike), Kathleen Hanna (Mark), Jane Bedard (Steve), Julia Adams (Jim), Lisa Zachary (Rob), 29 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. "No matter our age, it is hard to lose our parents, the ones who knew and loved us so well." Memorials established with St. Michael Catholic Church, 545 E.
