Born in Boston, MA. to Charles and Mary Farrell, John lived most of his adult life in Springfield, MA. He had been a milk man, bus driver and truck driver. He was killed in a jackknife accident while driving on the Mass Turnpike. He was driving for Spector Freight at the time. He was husband to Natalie (Thiem) and father to Natalie Anita Farrell. He served in the Navy during wwII from 1943 to 1945, his time spent in a submarine. He left behind his wife, daughter, son in law and three grandchildren.
