Her obituary appeared in the Charlotte Observer, March 3, 2004: Lorraine Campbell Mozeley, 78, of League City, TX died February 27, 2004. Born September 25, 1925 in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of Charles Davis and Fannie Cooper Campbell. Lorraine was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Charlotte and a member of Embry Hills United Methodist Church in Atlanta, GA, a church she attended for nearly thirty-five years. She was a graduate of Thomasboro High School and the widow of the late Henry Terrell Mozeley, whom she married in Charlotte on June 29, 1946. They had celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary a few months before his death in 1996. Lorraine was employed by Rich's Department Store in Decatur, Georgia where she worked in the Personnel and Training Departments, retiring in 1979. She was a tireless volunteer, serving in numerous organizations throughout her life. Survivors include her daughter, Melodey Mozeley Hauch, son-in-law, Robert G. Hauch and grandsons, Geoffrey R. and Andrew T. Hauch, all of League City; a sister, Mildred C. Buchanan of Thomson, GA; a brother, Paul M. Campbell of Pineville, NC; sister-in-law, Grace M. Kanipe of Vale, NC; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte.
