Lynn Alvah Allen, 73 of St. George passed away October 30, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on April 10, 1940 to George and Ethel Inez Scott Allen. Lynn worked as a Superintendent bridge contractor for Wood Hopkins Contractors until his retirement. He loved coaching Little League Baseball, Popwarner Football and he played Fast pitch Softball. He loved fishing and was an avid Gator Football fan. Lynn was a member of New Life Baptist Church.

Survivors include: three children: two sons: Lynn Alvah Allen, Jr. of Callahan; the "Golden Child": Mickey (Anita) Allen of Callahan; one daughter: Lisa (David) Padgett of St. George; one brother: Buck Allen of Penny Farms, Florida; one sister: Barbara Swartz (George) of Orange Springs, Florida; His loving companion: Debbie Bostick of St. George; twelve Grandchildren; fifteen Great-grandchildren several nieces, Nephews and other relatives. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers: George Allen; Joe Allen and Alvin Kessler.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at New Life Baptist Church, St. George. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 Am with Rev. James Conner officiating. Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery.
