Adell “Buck” Allen, 72, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away in Jacksonville at St. Vincent’s Hospital on November 25, 2017 after a brief illness. He was born on July 11, 1945 in Marietta, FL to parents George and Ethel (Scott) Allen. Mr. Allen had retired from Clay County where was the Director of Maintenance. He was an avid hunter and an outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Kennedy-Allen; daughters, Tish Allen-DeMedici and Brandie Allen; sister, Barbara Schwaite; step children, Ryan Kennedy, Steve Neal and Kristine Kennedy; grandchildren, Dylan Ruesskamp, Olivia DeMedici, Luke DeMedici, Kayleigh Williams and Sean Neal; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to service time.
