Lora B. Bowyer, born December 9, 1909 in Lone Oak, Texas, passed away December 9, 1996, at a hospital in Dallas, Texas, after a short illness.
Mrs. Bowyer graduated from Wellington High School in 1925, and was a graduate of S.M.U. in 1931, she married John Wilson Bowyer also, in 1931.
She is survived by her daughter, Mildred Lee Frazier of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Denis Edward and Toni Bowyer of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Lora Lee Crone of Matland, Florida, Linda Marie Hale of Houston, Texas, John Berka of Denton, Texas, John Bowyer, Catherine Dana and Wednesday Bowyer, all of Austin, Texas; one great-grandchild, Madison Dant of Austin, Texas; one niece and two nephews.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, December 14, 1996 in Westland Memorial Park with Glyssie Berberian officiating.
