Alice L. Hardrath, age 95, of 4152 Ray Street, Manitowoc, died Thursday morning, April 12, 2012, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.
Alice was born on May 16, 1916, in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Harvey and Edna (Witte) Eisenmann. Alice grew up and attended schools in Mishicot. She married Erwin Hardrath on June 25, 1949, in Mishicot. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2002. In the past, Alice worked for the Paragon Company in Two Rivers and WI Feeder Pig in Francis Creek. She was a member of Rockwood Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Manitowoc Senior Center.
Survivors include one granddaughter: Amy (Jonathan) Parins, Green Bay; one great grandson: Bennett Parins, Green Bay; two sisters-in-law: Darlene Eisenmann, Mishicot and her special friend Pat Remiker; Lois Hardrath, Stockbridge; one brother-in-law: Alfred Hardrath, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Harvey and Edna Eisenmann; her husband: Erwin Hardrath; one son: Thomas Hardrath; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Donald Eisenmann; Paul (Mae) Eisenmann; two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Mildred (George) King; Marion (Melvin "Curly") Hardrath.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Rockwood Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Karl Klein will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m. to the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The Jens Family Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Hardrath family.
