Amy Boardman, 37, of Urbana died Saturday, April 23, 2011 in Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. She was born February 21, 1974 in Urbana, a daughter of Robert E Markin and Nancy (Wilkins) Markin Crooks.
She had worked for Ultra-Met for 13 years.
Survivors include her husband, Jason whom she married June 15, 2002, her two sons Aaron M and Alex B whom she enjoyed thoroughly, her mother and Carl Foster of Quincy, sister, Mina Haynes and her husband Mark of Urbana, brothers, Chris W Watts of Ky, Roger E Watts and his wife Roberta of Springfield, mother-in-law, Carolyn J Vincent and husband Mark of Grove City, brothers-in-law Mark A Boardman of Grove City, Shane L Boardman of Long Beach, CA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, step father Donald E Crooks and grandfather Kenneth Markin.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S Main Street, Urbana where funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, April 28, 2011.
Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
