DECEMBER 24, 1970
KEWAUNEE: Ferdinand J. Barrette, 59, 601 Miller st., Kewaunee, died Thursday afternoon at St Mary's hospital after a six month illness. He was a life long resident of Kewaunee, where he was born April 17, 1911, the son of Ferdinand and Ursula (Graves) Barrette. Mr. Barrette was a member of the Foundry Workers Union in Kewaunee. He married Julia Wierer Schunke on Oct 6, 1962 and she survives with a daughter, Mrs. Chester (Eleanor) Hansen of Montpelier; two stepsons James Barrette of DePere and Donald Schunke of Green Bay and ten grandchildren. Pastor Ted Seigo officiated at service at Svoboda funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment was in the Riverview cemetery.
