This is the family of Bedford & Pernie Meredith Wilson. These are the sisters & brothers of Alene Wilson Russ.She is the little girl in front to the left of her Father's knee.She was about 2-3 in this picture.

This is a photo of young Alene Wilson. This was taken on the homeplace at
Dog Creek,KY. Where she was born and raised. She is about 3 in this photo, so it is about 1920 or 1921. She has her friend the goat her with her. The baby on the left may be her little cousin, Mac Thompson?

"My Ole Dog & Me" that is what is written on the back. This is one of the few photo's that I have of her as a child. She is smiling in this photo,something she didn't do very often. I guess this must have been Christmas or maybe her birthday?

This is a photo of Alene Wilson Russ on the cover of the Hart County Quarterly.
A story was done on her life as a Country Music Singer and growing up in Hart Co as a child. It had lots of stories about her and all the things that she had done in her lifetime. She was well known as a musician that played with several well known groups and people.

This is one of the last few photo's taken of Mom. This was at the Wilson family reunion in Hart Co. This is Alene E Wilson Russ, Rebecca Russ Scott, and my Granddaughter, Emilee Jo.
This was taken in 2002. A few years before she died.

Me at Mom's grave after we cleaned it and placed new flowers on it. This was taken at Bethany Cemetery, where Mom is buried.This was in 2007 after we cleaned the grave up for the Spring.
