Yet another light has flickered and gone out. Alice Evelyn (Evie) Williams Scow, of Helena passed away on November 5, 2013, in her home in Helena.

Evie attended Capital High School in Helena, and received an Associate of Applied Science in Accounting from the Helena College of Technology. She worked several years for Power Townsend, where she met her husband Jeff, in addition to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana, and the last several years for the Department of Justice, Montana Highway Patrol Division.

Evie loved her family, and friends, and that love took her to many places she was not entirely comfortable with but did it all with a joke and a smile, including camping, riding motorcycles and 4 wheelers, and more recently, renewed her interest in horseback riding, never with a hair out of place!

Evie is survived by her husband of 21 Years, Jeff Scow, daughters Kaloni (Mike Soto) and Kiana. Grandchildren Quintin, Keegan and Kaylie, parents, Maggie and Donald Williams, brothers Chuck (Gwen) Williams and Dale (Jennifer) Williams and a sister Betty Williams. Father-in-law Bob Scow, brother-in-law Jim (Caryn) Scow and sister-in-law Karen Fischer, newly found family members mother-in-law Jadine (Chuck) Murphy, sister-in-laws Kendra (Dave) Ullger, Deanna Murphy, brother-in-laws Jace (Shannon) Murphy and Chucki (Lori) Murphy, in addition to numerous family members. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, mother-in-law Bev Scow and sister Donna.

A private family viewing was held on Saturday. A memorial service celebrating Evie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Ave. A reception will immediately follow the memorial service at the Elks Lodge, 330 Lola Street.
