BOSS - SANDELL

Miss Velma Boss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Boss, and John E. Sandell, of Wichita, Kansas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sandell of Stromsburg, were married at a quiet wedding at the M.E. Parsonage in Silver Creek on Sunday, July 6, with Rev. Beebe officiating.

Attendants were Miss Mildred Boss, sister of the bride, and Lelon Alexander.

The bride was born and raised in this community and after attending school at District ten she spent four years at the Silver Creek high, and graduated with the class of 1930. Since that time she spent some time as assistant in the postoffice at Silver Creek, and also has been employed as a clerk at the Sanders grocery.

The groom was reared in the Stromsburg neighborhood and graduated from the Stromsburg high school in 1933.

Immediately following the ceremony the young folks left for Wichita, Kansas to make their home, the groom holding a responsible position there with the Beech Aircraft
Corporation.
