Milton Dale Knox, 54, of 22269 County Rd 2800 E, Forest City, IL, passed away at 12:30 AM on November 9, 2013 at his residence with his wife, Sharon at his side.
Milton was born on January 2, 1959, in Canton, IL, to LeRoy and Roberta (Fitchpatrick) Knox.
He married Sharon Fullington on April 10, 2010 in Forest City, IL and she survives.
Milton is survived by two sons, Joshua and Ryan Knox; his father, LeRoy Knox; one uncle and one aunt, Jim and Karen Zilch; three granddaughters; one sister, Rose (Mark) Elbus and one brother, Matthew (Rhonda) Knox .
He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Michael Knox, in 1994.
Milton worked as a telephone contractor most of his adult life until 2009. He served our nation in the Air National Guard. He enjoyed the NHRA and racing his cars at local tracks and enjoyed fishing throughout his life.
A funeral service will be held for Milton on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 7PM at Maas-Hurley Funeral Home in Manito, IL. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 5 - 7PM at the funeral home. Colin J. Edwards will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dale Knox Memorial Fund to help with funeral expenses in care of Maas-Hurley Funeral Home.
