PEORIA -- Michael W. Knox, 38, of 270 Skokie Blvd., Chicago, formerly of Peoria, died at 3:25 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, 1994, at Grant Hospital in Chicago.

He was born May 24, 1955, in Peoria to LeRoy and Roberta Fitchpatrick Knox.

Surviving are his parents of Morton; one sister, Mrs. Mark (Rose) Elbus of Kewanee; two brothers, Matthew of Chesapeake, Va., and Milton of Pekin; and one grandfather, Charles Fitchpatrick of Yates City. His paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother preceded him in death.

He graduated from Limestone High School in 1973. He was a former member of the Barbershop Chorus in Peoria.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Berea Baptist Church in Bartonville. The Rev. Kenneth Linder will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church. Cremation has been accorded. Arrangements are by Woolsey- Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria.

Memorials may be made to Berea Baptist Church or any charity.
