Nora Hacker was the daughter of Granville Hacker and Amanda Robison. She married Allen Wade Feb. 12, 1912, in Bartholomew Co., Indiana.

Nora E. Wade, 83, of 2544 15th died at 12:10 p.m. Friday at Bartholomew County hospital where she had been a patient for four weeks. She had been in failing health for five years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Reed Funeral home by the Rev. Richard Burton. Burial will be at Garland Brook cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Wade was born July 25, 1891, in Bartholomew county, daughter of Granville and Amanda Robinson Hacker. She was married to Allen Wade in 1912 and he died Dec. 3, 1962. She had lived her entire life in Bartholomew county and was a member of the Burnsville Christian church.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Wade, Route 3, and Robert Wade, Grammer; five daughters, Mrs. Morris Jackson of 3016 26th, Mrs. Carl Wendel of 2544 15th, Mrs. Wayne Romine of Burnsville, Mrs. Irvin Khune of 2725 14th and Mrs. Herbert Hasselbring of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Ray Bennett, 528 Chestnut; 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond, three brothers and two sisters.
