Erwin B. Mrotek, age 75, of 1215 Dueno St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon, December 13, 1993, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be 10 am. Tuesday, January 4, 1994, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. James Stamborski with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manitowoc.

He was born June 8, 1918, at Manitowoc, son of the late Tracy and Helen Shemchak Mrotek. He married the former Gabriella (Gaye) Schmidt, November 20, 1943, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death May 13, 1987. Gay and Erwin owned and operated the 3-T’s Lanes in Manitowoc for many years. Mr. Mrotek was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc, Pigeon Club, Eagles Aerie #706 of Manitowoc, Travelers Protection Association and Wisconsin Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff Association.

Survivors include a special cousin, Dorothy Janesky, Manitowoc; an aunt, Mr. Bert (Grace) Smith, Manitowoc; special friends, Kenny and Cheryl Krish, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends also survive.

Family will greet relatives and friends at St. Andrew Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at 10 a.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with arrangements.
