Tracy B. Mrotek, 69, of 1515 Madison St., Manitowoc, died Saturday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
Mr. Mrotek was born May 14, 1896, at Manitowoc, son of the late Paul and Mathilda Stephani Mrotek. He married the former Helen Shemchak July 16, 1917 at St. Mary Church. Mr. Mrotek worked at Mirro Aluminum Co. Plant two as a tool and die setter until 1943, and in 1945 purchased the Tip Top Tavern and bowling alley which he operated with his son, Erwin, until retirement in 1959.
Surviving are the wife, son, Erwin, a niece, Mrs. Stanley Janesky of Manitowoc, Whom the couple reared from infancy; and two brothers, Edward and Francis, and two sisters, Mrs. Albert Lishka and Mrs. Felix Zigmund, of Manitowoc.
Friends may call a the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be recited by the Knights of Columbus, parish and friends.
