Frank was born in Vineland where he was a lifelong city resident. He was the son of the late Frank and Amelia Bergamo, Sr.

Frank was a self-employed Construction Contractor for Frank A. Bergamo, Jr. and Son Construction Co. for 30 Yrs. He was also a part-time Building Inspector for the City of Vineland for 17 years and a member of the N.J. Home Builders Association. Upon retiring, he owned and operated KEDA Sharpening. He was an associate member of South Vineland Fire Co. No. 2 and a member of St. Isidores R.C. Church. In his younger years, he was active in the Boy Scouts, Knights of Columbus and the Society of St. Joseph. He enjoyed and loved his grandchildren, family and winters in Florida. He also enjoyed traveling, bus trips and playing cards. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of WWII serving in the South Pacific.

He is survived by his wife of 57 Yrs: Esther (Vendrasco); 1 son and daughter-in-law: Joe and Belva Bergamo; 1 daughter and son-in-law: Maryanne and Tom Langley; Grandchildren: Keith Langley and his wife, Townsend, Elizabeth and Alicia Bergamo; great grandson: Keith Thomas Langley, Jr.; 2 brothers: Albert and his wife Mildred Bergamo Pio and his wife Dolores Bergamo; sisters-in-law: Rosalie Bergamo and Clara Bergamo; many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his grandson: Daniel Langley; his brothers: John Louis and Felix "Phil" and George Bergamo; his sisters: Irene Stellacio and Cora Dare.
