CLAPSHAW SERVICE
Funeral services for Guy Clapshaw, 88, of Wilton who died at the Bagley Hospital Tuesday, will be held at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home Saturday at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Clapshaw was born at Mankato Aug. 14, 1880, the son of John and Jane Clapshaw. He grew up in southern Minnesota and was married to Inez Jerome in 1909 and they lived in Douglas county and at Dent, Minn., for many years. She preceded him in death in 1947. Mr. Clapshaw moved to Beltrami County 16 years ago. He was married to Mabel Rowland in 1952.
Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Melkert (Iralene) of Berkley, Cal., two sons, Lee of Great Falls, Mont., and Harlen in Oregon; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Harold Doyle (Violet) of Nashwauk, two stepsons, Harold Platt of Solway and Arthur Platt of Hibbing; 27 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.
