Mr. Jimmy Presley, age 75, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 in Bay Minette, AL.
He was a native of Lottie, AL. and a life-long resident of Perdido, AL. He was retired from Monsanto Corp. He was a hunter and loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc and Sally Presley; one son, Kent Presley and a brother, Frank Presley.
Mr. Presley is survived by his former wife, Carolyn Presley of Bay Minette; four sons, Faron (Lynn) Presley of Bay Minette, Alan (Sophie) Presley, Troy Presley and Tyson Presley, all of Perdido; five daughters, Kathy Smith, Pam (Tyland) Forbes and Tonya Presley, all of Perdido, Rita (Billy) Boatwright and Brenda Bruch, all of Clanton, AL.; two brothers, Wayne (Tootsie) Presley of Lottie, AL. and Don (Virginia) Presley of Perdido; fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Boatwright officiating.
Burial followed at the Presley Cemetery.
The family received friends Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Wesley Smith, Jesse Smith, Leslie Smith, Donald Presley, Faron Presley II and Tyler Davis.
Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC in charge of all arrangements, Atmore, Alabama.
