Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, Alfred and Margaret Nibbelin, Sr.; brother-in-law, Charlie Kaelin, and mother and father-in-law, Jared and Charlotte Hayes.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years, Joan Nibbelin; daughter, Jacki Hoover (Bill); grandchildren, Jamie (Kasie), Ryan and Alex Hoover; brother, Robert Nibbelin (Joyce); sister, Shirley Kaelin; nieces and nephews, Debbie, Chuck (Wendy), Lisa (Wesley), Pam (Pat), Vicky (David) and Kelly (Mike) and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday at St. Luke Catholic Church, 4211 Jim Hawkins Dr., Louisville with burial in Brookland Cemetery.
