Born on February 24, 1926 in Arnaudville, Louisiana to Cleopha and Agatha Thibodeaux Miller.
After graduation from Cecilia High School, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy and served his country during the second world war. He came to Port Arthur in 1952 to work for Texaco from which he retired with 35 years of service. He and his wife were charter members of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3491 in Groves, church ministry and had been active in the Boy Scouts. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joseph and Walter Lee Miller, sister LeeAnna Crochet, brothers-in-law L. J. Crochet, Malcohm Caillier and Leroy Trahan, niece Bonnie Crochet.
Those who will most cherish his memory are his wife of 66 years, Marella; his sons James and wife Suzanne, Errol and wife Jan; his daughter, Janice; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Pat Miller and Ernest Miller; his sister, Una Trahan, and a host of in-laws, nieces and nephews and friends.
Entombment: Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves, Texas.
