Jay Burleigh Dies At Son's Home, Syracuse
Verona, Feb. 18 — Jay Burleigh died today at the home of his son, Mason Burleigh of Syracuse.
Mr. Burleigh was a resident of Verona for many years and was well known here. He was a former member of the Verona Methodist Church. His wife, Hannah Claus Burleigh died last summer.
Burial will be in the Verona cemetery Sunday afternoon.

JAY BURLEIGH
Jay Burleigh died last week and burial was made at Verona Saturday. He was 72 years of age and former superintendent of the Dairymen's League plant in Syracuse. He formerly resided at Eaton and was a member of Morrisville Masons, Eaton Grange and Eaton M. E. Church. He was a native of Verona.

Jay R. Burleigh, 77, fomrer superintendent of the Dairymen's League Milk Company and formder resident of Eaton, died Thursday night, February 16, 1939, in a private sanatorium in syracuse.
Borm in Verona, Mr. Burleigh lived in Eaton several years and went to Syracuse six months ago. He was a member of Morrisville and Eaton Methodist Episcopal Church.
Surviving is one son, Mason E. Burliegh of Solvay.
Funeral services were conducted at the Fairchild & Meech Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Carleton Stevens, Burial was at Verona.
