William Johnson, 86, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013. He was born in Faubush, Kentucky on July 22, 1927. He was the son of Herbert and Louetta (Frye) Johnson. William was a veteran of the United States Army during WWII, a member of the Faith Baptist Church and the American Legion Post #513. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and photography. He married Lucy Mae (Garner) Johnson on June 21, 1947.
William was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; brothers, Arthur, Arnold, and Truman and a sister, Naomi (Johnson) Cooper.
William was survived by:
Four children: Estel Johnson (and wife Paula), Larry Johnson (and wife Sharon), Louise (Johnson) Tobergta (and husband James), and Patty (Johnson) York (and husband Robert)
Seven grandchildren: Ray, Jamie, Eddie, Tracy Mae, Bobby, Sherry, and Julie
Nine great-grandchildren: Jamie Rae, Christina, Willie, Larry James, Paul, Alayna Mae, Kali, Erik, and Zara
Two great-great-grandchildren: Brennen James, and Teeanah.
One sister: Ilena (Johnson) Oaks
And, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
