Louetta Frye Johnson, 90, Greenfield, Ind., formerly of Somerset, died Tuesday, Apr. 14, at her residence.
She was born in Russell County on Feb. 21, 1897, the daughter of the late Peter and Victoria Popplewell Frye. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Herbert Truman Johnson, Greenfield, Ind., Arnold A. Johnson, Mason City, Ill., William P. Johnson, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Arthur L. Johnson, Somerset; two daughters, Mrs. William Cooper, Greenfield, Ind., and Mrs. Marvin Oakes, Irvine; 18 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Herbert Johnson, whom she married in 1919. Note - Pulaski County, Kentucky Marriage Records show they were married April 20, 1920.
Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Cooks Chapel Cemetery.
