Lucille attended Indiana State University and graduated with a degree in teaching. Except for three years when she worked for Huntingburg Furniture Co., she taught school from 1940 until her death in 19172. She taught in the Huntingburg and St. Anthony schools.
She was married in 1948 to Jack Hoffman and they had one daughter.
