MRS. FRANCES V. ABBETT.
Newark, Mo., Sept. 16. — Mrs. Frances V. Abbett, 73, of Newark, died Wednesday night in her home. She lived here all her life. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 C. S. T. in the Christian church with the Rev. J. L. Minshall of Quincy, Ill., officiating. Burial will be in Newark cemetery.
Mrs. Abbett was born here Oct. 14, 1886, a daughter of Jasper N. and Anna M. White Freeman. She was a member of the Christian church. Her marriage to Joseph Morton Abbett took place in Edina May 13, 1903. He died Nov. 11, 1956.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. A. N. Longfellow of Rutledge and Mrs. Lee Skirvin of La Belle three brothers Jack Freeman of Ewing, Frank and John Freeman of La Belle, a granddaughter, Mrs. Elaine Walls of Indianapolis, Ind., a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Abbett of Tiskilwa and three great-grandchildren.
