JOHNSTON WINSTON-SALEM Bobby Neal Johnston Sept. 20, 1934 - Dec. 3, 2013 Mr. Bobby Neal Johnston, age 79 of Winston-Salem went home to be with the Lord December 3, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Johnston was born September 20, 1934 in Yadkin County to George Wilson and Allie Lee Reece Johnston. He was a member of Brookhaven Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, retired from E.G. Forrest Company after more than 40 years of service. Mr. Johnston was a veteran having served in the US Army. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. In addition to his parents Mr. Johnston was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jean Brown Johnston on December 31, 2012. Three sisters and six brothers. Mr. Johnston is survived by his children, Randall (Hope) Johnston and Sandra (Tim) Willard. Two grandchildren, Katie and Allie Johnston. Three sisters; Gaynell Poindexter, Bet Poindexter and Sadie Bryant and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Johnston will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Pastor Mitchell See and Pastor Bryan Poindexter. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. Military burial honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 290 of King.
