Goldie Mae See Correll, 95, of Peru, went to be with the Lord at 9:50 a.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Miller's Merry Manor, Peru from complications from Alzheimer's dementia. She was born on September 28, 1910 to Noah and Mary Cooper See in Peru, Miami County, Indiana. She had three brothers and two sisters: Raymond L. See (1989-1930), Glen Marvin See (1892-1963), Dora M. See (1901-1947), Esther C. See (1905-2002) and Robert E. See (1913-1984).

She married Ora D. Correll on 26 November 1930, and he proceeded her in death on November 3, 1970. She was a member of the Christian Pilgrim Church in Peru. She lived her entire life in Miami County. She was a devoted sister, wife, and mother.

Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Correll and wife Shirley, Peru, and Paul J. Correll, Mexico; four grandsons, John M. Correll, Indianapolis, Charles O Correll, Peru, Paul J. Correll, II, Indianpolis, and Terry L. Correll, Denver; three granddaughters, Angela L. Gilleland, Peru, Melissa K. Arnold, Mexico, and Teresa E. Correll, Denver, nine great-grandchildren, Alice K. Murphy, Johnna N. Correll, Sierra Correll, Sasrah Correll, Bailey Correll, Brody Correll, Kristina Gilleland, and Gavin M. Correll; and two daughters-in-law, Mary Correll, Denver, and Ruby L. Weir, Peru.

She was preceded in death by two sons, John E. Correll and Terry L. Correll, Sr.; one daughter-in-law, Januita Sons Correll; one grandson, Dan Correll; a granddaughter, Paula A. Correll Murphy, and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McClain Funeral Home, Denver with Pastor Rod Correll officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion, Cemetery, Denver. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
