MRS MARY GARVEY BURNS
Mrs Mary Garvey Burns passed away very suddenly Sunday afternoon at her home in Riverhead. She was born in Mattituck 78 years ago, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Garvey. She had lived in Riverhead for many years.
A requiem mass was offered on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at St John's RC Church, Riverhead, by the Rev Adam J Pfundstein, pastor. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cutchogue.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Burns and two daughters, Miss Dorothy J Burns and Mrs John Britteny of Farmingdale and a number of nieces and nephews.
