She was born in Bazine, Kansas on February 22, 1936 to Herbert and Molly (Rein) Moore.
Pearlene attended Bazine High School.
She married and later divorced David Showalter.
Pearlene was a member of the First United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and the VFW Auxiliary.
Pearlene is survived by her daughter, Tanya Mossburgh and husband Steve of Concordia; brother, Sherry Moore and wife Karen of Bazine; 2 grandchildren, Cheriee Mossburgh of Concordia, Luke Mossburgh of Aurora, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy; sister, Marvalee Stanberry; and former husband David.
