She was a native of Gastonia, daughter of the late Walter Neil and Alda Magnolia Propst Craig, member of First United Methodist Church, Gastonia, where she was active in United Methodist Women, executive secretary with BB&T, named Secretary of the Year in 1970, member of National Secretary’s Association.
