FRED W. SCHNEIDER

Fred W. Schneider, 76, retired town of Rockland farmer, died Wednesday morning following a two weeks illness. He had been making his home with his son, Wilferd (sic) who is operating the home farm.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Berge Funeral Home in Valders, and at 2 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Rockland.
The Rev. Victor Weyland of Collins will officiate with burial in the adjoining church cemetery.

Mr. Schneider was born in Eaton in 1876 and in 1903 married Emilia Glasow.
They settled on the present Schneider farm in the town of Rockland. Mrs. Schneider died in 1946.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Leona Bennin of Rt. 4, Chilton and Mrs. Reuben Krueger of Collins; two sons, Kermit of Eaton and Wilferd of the home farm; two brothers, Charles of Collins and Henry of Rt. 4, Chilton;
two sisters, Mrs. John Schaefer of Collins and Mrs. TedDraheim of Brillion;
10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Friday until time of services on Saturday.
