Barbara J. Kukoski, age 64, a Manitowoc resident, died Wednesday morning, December 18, 2013 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

She was born on July 23, 1949 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Schroeder) Kalista. Barbara was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1967. On August 5, 1972 she married Stephen Kukoski Jr. at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Barbara was employed at various companies throughout her career including the Domestic Violence Center, Woodrow Wilson School and Michael Best & Friedrich Law Firm. She enjoyed going to Shawano Lake and lunches with her friends.

Survivors include her husband: Stephen Kukoski Jr., Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law: Robyn & Dan Kressin, Chelmsford, MA; a grandson: Zachary Kressin and a granddaughter on the way; a brother and sister-in-law: Ron & Marie Kalista, Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law: Mary & Jack Jackson, Manitowoc; three nephews: John (Shoko) Kalista, Japan, Tim Kalista, Manitowoc, David Kalista, Two Rivers; a brother-in-law: Jerry & Susan Kukoski; a sister-in-law: Mary Ann & Dennis Musial; and a niece: Kim (Dick) Behnke, all of Manitowoc.

Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Memorial Service will be the Rev. Brian Staude with burial of her cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, for a memorial visitation on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
