BARBERTON -- Elmer (Bill) C. Wenner , 72, died Nov. 22 at Barberton
Citizens Hospital.
He was born in Barberton, and was a life resident of the Barberton-Norton
area. He was the former owner and operator of Wenner 's Tavern in Norton for 15 years, retiring 10 years ago. He was a member of Buckeye Lodge S.N.P.J. 626
the Barberton Moose Lodge 759 and the A.A.R.P. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by wife, Mary (Csaszar); brothers, Jack and Jerome of
Barberton; sisters, Mrs. Mary Jamieson and Mrs. Gladys Stark, both of Sun City West, Ariz., Mrs. Genevieve Roth of Barberton; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 9:30 a.m., at the Hahn Funeral Home
with 10 a.m. Mass of the Christian Burial at St. Augustine's Catholic Church. Burial at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Doyletown. Friends may call Friday, 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with Rosary services Friday, 8:15 p.m. (Hahn, Barberton, 825-2467.)
