Dies, Rites Friday
Mrs. Nora E. Shirley, widow of W. J. Shirley and a native of Henderson County, died last night at Spartanburg General hospital.
The funeral services will be held at Shaw's Creek Baptist Church Friday at 3 p.m. The Revs. Gilmer Proctor and Lawrence Irvin will officiate and burial will be in the Shaw's Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryan Merrill, Herman & Tom McCullough, Flynn & Emmett Allen and Glen Bruce.
She is survived by the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. R. C. Cotner of Spartanburg, SC, H. A. Allen, Sibley Allen and Z. C. Allen, all of Hendersonville.
