25 Feb,1898. John Kindt, a highly respected citizen, died this week, Feb 22 and will be buried on Saturday. He suffered from heart disease and dropsy. He was a devout member of his church. He was one the best German Sunday school teachers in this part of the country. This was evidently due to his religious training in his native Germany, where at one time, he had studied for the Roman Catholic Priesthood. [Lebanon Evening Report]
