These three infants are the children of the famous William Tappan Thompson (Editor of the Savannah Morning News and American Humorist writer) and Caroline Amour Carrie Thompson. The infants are buried next to their grandparents, Joseph and Mary Carrie in the Carrie Family Plot. The infants and their dates are: Augustus Jones March 12, 1838-July 1838. Rosina Fidela (Rosa)July 1, 1839-Sept. 10, 1840 and William Talma Thompson born, July 8, 1841. Rest in Peace dear little ones. This is my 3 times great grandfather's sister's children.
