Her husband, Moses Burris, died during the Civil War at Grand Army of the Republic Hospital in Nashville, TN and is buried at Nashville National Cemetery in Gallatin, TN.
The last record of her was in the 1900 US Census at 80 years of age. The Lyon County Plat Books of 1901 and 1918 indicate that she still owned property in that county during those years.
